Coronavirus Update

On the 20th March 2020, the UK Government ordered that all gyms were to close until further notice.

As a result, all Lifestyle Fitness clubs are currently closed and will not reopen until authorised to do so by the government.

We are hopeful that we will be given guidance in the very near future on when we are able to begin reopening our clubs.

In the mean time, we've been working flat out to prepare for what reopening might look like. These steps include:

  • Ensuring we continue to fully comply with Public Health England guidance
  • Maximising the efficiency of our cleaning procedures, ensuring the gym is kept thoroughly clean at all times
  • Installation of sanitiser station
  • Installation of new signage
  • Revised class capacities to ensure social distancing during group exercise
  • Implementing a one way system where required at club entrances to maintain social distancing
  • Training and equipment for staff, ensuring member safety is our number one priority at all times
  • Deploying a new real-time 'club busyness' indicator on our website to help you plan your visit where possible
  • All of our operating procedures are designed in conjunction with UK Active - our industry body - in order to comply with new Covid-19 Response Approved protocols, and the Fit Together campaign.

As soon as we have a confirmed date for re-opening, you will be the first to know, and we will clearly communicate all changes in operating procedures to all members in advance.

We recommend our members continue to exercise while the gym is closed, and recommend you join our new Working Out From Home Facebook group where you will find helpful content, tips and guidance from PTs and staff members across the Lifestyle Fitness Community.

All memberships and payments remain frozen, and will continue to be frozen for the duration of our closure. I’d like to thank you for your patience throughout this period, and thank you for your continued support.

We can’t wait to reopen, and to see you again in our clubs!
