At Lifestyle Fitness, we are proud to support those who have experienced cancer by hosting the Battle Cancer Program in our clubs next month! This transformative initiative, developed by CAWS and Battle Cancer, provides structured exercise rehabilitation to aid recovery, rebuild strength, and enhance confidence.
What is the Battle Cancer Program?
The Battle Cancer Program is a 12-week, coach-led fitness program designed to help individuals regain physical and mental strength post-cancer treatment. Each session focuses on simple, accessible movements, adapted to suit all fitness levels and abilities.
With expert guidance, participants engage in progressive training, including strength exercises such as deadlifts, squats, and presses, as well as mobility and aerobic components to build overall fitness. The program not only improves physical performance but also fosters a strong sense of community and support among participants.
Who Can Join?
The program is open to anyone who has completed cancer treatment at least two months ago and has been medically cleared to exercise. Whether you’re new to fitness or experienced, the sessions are tailored to your individual abilities and needs, ensuring a safe and effective approach to rebuilding strength.
Why Get Involved?
Studies show that structured physical activity significantly aids recovery and improves quality of life for cancer survivors. The Battle Cancer Program has already made a significant impact worldwide, with participants reporting increased strength, mobility, confidence, and an enhanced sense of well-being.
